National Voters Day pledge ceremony was organized at Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu here today. The Staff Officer to ADGP Jammu Shri Vishal Manhas,JKPS administered the pledge to officers and Police personnel of ZPHQ Jammu.
As is known, January 25 is observed as National Voters Day to commemorate the founding day of the Election Commission of India, which was created on this date in 1950. The first National Voters Day was observed on January 25, 2011, and ever since, it has been observed on January 25 with a particular theme. For 2024, the theme was “nothing like voting, I vote for sure”.
Meanwhile, pledge functions were also held at all the Police establishments across the Jammu Province.
